The B-League does not acrue BUCS points, and will have limited spaces of 16. Entries are subject to the institution making a BUCS entry however, and universities can only enter one team into each category.
BUCS points are awarded for the Open & Womens Championships, these can be found here in Appendix 1.
There is also a B-League and Oldies league which is for university teams but does not award BUCS Points
Institutions have 2 guaranteed entries (1 x Men’s and 1 x Women’s) for the BUCS Championships.
Please note: each team must supply a referee of a standard to oversee each competition entered. If you enter 3 teams, you must bring 3 referees - The names of these referees should be entered on BUCS Play upon entry
The non-BUCS points competitions have limited places (16 for B league and 12 for oldies) and are subject to the institution making a BUCS entry; Universities can only enter one team into each category.
NB: Eligible female players can choose to play for either the BUCS Open or Women’s Championship team for their institution. However, a maximum of three female players may be entered into a Men’s team squad. All three female players may form part of the team for each individual match, but only two may be in active play at any one time. Three females being active in the field of play will result in that team automatically forfeiting the match.
